Vice-Chairman of the Board (2024-)
Entrepreneur Eetu Suominen, Northern Sound Oy
Other members of the Board:
Markku Rantanen, Sales Manager, Robert Bosch Oy (2020-)
“I work for Robert Bosch Oy as a sales manager in the Building Technologies division. I am responsible for sound reinforcement and conference equipment, which I have been working on at Bosch since 2000. In total, I have been working in the same field for more than 30 years.
As a member of the Avita board, I particularly want to promote voice evacuation training. I also want Avita to work more closely with STUL and NSS.”
CEO and entrepreneur Pasi Latva-Käyrä, Tele-Tukku Oy (2021-)
My interest in the AV sector started back in the 90s. Strong experience in cables, connectors and spacers. Now for about ten years also involved in AV equipment, extenders, hubs, switches, matrices, etc. The industry is moving forward at a furious pace, thankfully. My work is varied and I think it will help me on the board of Avita.
In Avita, I would also like to include other types of marketing channels for all members of the association.
Managing Director Jorma Saarikko, Pro Av Saarikko Oy (2021-)
I have been working in the AV sector since 1980. I started as a salesman and installer at Kruunuradio Oy, then set up video, used equipment and car stereo stores, and finally a business services business.
After 12 years, I started my own AV company, Pro Av Saarikko Oy. In the 2000s, I decided to focus solely on media arts technology. Today we are the leading Media Arts technician in the Nordic countries, with about 65% of our turnover coming from worldwide, customers in 72 countries and we have developed, among other things, an international 4G remote maintenance/monitoring/charging and access service for our customers.
At Avita, I aim to facilitate and help member companies’ economic and productive opportunities to grow and develop, including in international trade. Forward with the power of cooperation and action!
Head of sales Juha Lindqvist, Kauko Oy (2022-)
Sales Manager – AV Installation, Sami Mäkinen, Genelec Oy (2023-)
“I have worked at Genelec in various roles for over 15 years and have seen the industry evolve in the professional audio, consumer and AV business. For the last seven years I have focused on developing Genelec’s AV business globally. Now I am back to my roots and rejoined the Finnish sales team with responsibility for domestic AV customers.
As a member of the Avita Board, I want to network more at the heart of the industry and develop and clarify issues related to public procurement. My experience in international trade will certainly be useful too!

Head of AV Sales, Ville-Veikko Palviainen, Akukon Oy ( 2025-)
Product Manager, Juhana Kari, Caverion Oy (2025-)
Honorary member Risto Oinaala (2022-)
“I am one of Avita’s honorary members, having served twice as chairman and member of the board for at least 12 years. I am retired, but I still run a small consultancy business and actively follow the industry. I’m one of the oldest people in the industry, so I have a lot of experience and insight. I was awarded a lifetime achievement award at the AudioVisual Expo, so I could almost call myself an emeritus.”
